Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in Germany, Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Germany showed varied trends in downloads and active user engagement, according to Sensor Tower data.

Uber - Request a ride experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, starting at around 30K and stabilizing in the range of 20K to 25K towards the end of the quarter. Its weekly active users began at approximately 644K, saw a dip to about 449K, and then recovered to around 507K by the end of March.

Bolt: Request a Ride showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at roughly 17K in mid-March. The app's active users started at about 410K, dipped to 335K, and then rose to over 423K by the end of the quarter.

Grab - Taxi & Food Delivery saw a decline in weekly downloads, beginning at over 4K and falling to just above 2.6K by the end of March. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at around 13.7K and decreasing to about 12.3K.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver maintained relatively stable download numbers, ranging from 2K to 2.9K. Active users remained consistent, fluctuating slightly around 23K throughout the quarter.

Yandex Go: Taxi Food Delivery experienced a steady decline in downloads, starting at nearly 3K and ending at 1.6K. Active users also decreased from about 6.6K to 5.7K by quarter-end.
